The Prosess

Humans are social animals. We thrive alongside others and need interaction with others for a good life.
This is why family experiences are so important to us, for better or for worse.
It begins with the basic feeling of being wanted, and is reinforced through upbringing, community, conflicts, and reconciliation, leading to the joy of new life through children and grandchildren.

Here lies the secret to unlocking energy, joy at work, and collective effort towards shared goals. It’s all incredibly simple and almost trivial, yet so extremely difficult. The best coaches and leaders manage it. Now it’s your turn to emulate best practices – in your own way!

It all boils down to five principles, which can be described with the following key points:

  1. The experience of being wanted and chosen.

  2. The feeling of belonging.

  3. The upbringing/immersion in shared norms and values.

  4. Acceptance and affirmation of who you are.

  5. Given and delegated responsibility.

The similarity between being born into a family and being hired into a new job may seem far-fetched to some, but upon closer reflection, you’ll see the similarities more and more clearly.
Your job as a leader is to make your leadership team, department, or team the best “family” or the best organization ever.

SGL: Be aware that the leadership role brings
with it a range of transfers beyond your control. – For better or for worse, you will be unconsciously associated with paternal and maternal images, whether you deserve it or not. That’s just how it is!
